CodeChangers had the opportunity to show off some of the amazing things we have been doing to Governor Gary Herbert. Along with other outreaches that are being ran in partnership with Dixie State University CodeChangers held a special class where students were able to build a game using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The Governor joined for a portion of the lesson and coded out parts of the game to make his character move and jump. It was fun letting him see a small glimpse of what our students are doing. Since CodeChangers beginnings just a year ago we have seen such great progress from our students. Governor Herbert had the following to say about what we were doing on his Facebook page:

CodeChangers is doing its part to prepare students for opportunities in Utah\'s growing technology sector. Thanks for the coding lesson! ‪#‎CodeCamp‬ ‪#‎GaryGov‬ ‪#‎utpol‬
